Jeppesen and CHS Sign Two Licence Agreements

1-May-2009 - The Canadian Hydrographic Service and Jeppesen Marine Inc. have signed a CHS Value-Added Reseller (VAR) licence as well as a CHS Digital Dealer licence.

As a CHS VAR, Jeppesen Marine Inc. will be under licence to reproduce CHS products and updates for the purpose of integrating them into Jeppesen Marine digital value-added products for the marine industry.

As a CHS Digital Dealer, Jeppesen Marine Inc. will be under licence to distribute official CHS digital charts, including CHS raster charts in the BSB 4.0 format and CHS Electronic Navigational Charts (ENC) in the International Hydrographic Organization S-57 e3.1 standard format, as well as in the related System Electronic Navigation Chart (SENC) format, and to offer a related updating service to its customers.
