Register Your Chart

Once you receive your digital chart from a CHS authorized dealer, you must register your chart within 30 days of purchase to ensure you receive the latest updates and support. 

You can register your digital chart online or by phone at 1-866-833-6676.  Your registration is valid for one year and entitles you to receive updates and new editions within this timeframe. To learn more, you can read our End-User License Agreement (2007-2009 | 2010) which highlights your rights as a user of CHS charts.

If you have a raster chart (BSB format), you must register your chart to decrypt it and begin using it.  You will receive an activation code at the time of registration.

Paper Charts

If you have a paper chart, you can register on the Canadian Coast Guard's Notices to Mariners web site to receive email notifications of updates to your chart.

You can also type in your chart number below to access the latest Notices to Mariners for your chart.
